RECENT OBITUARIES
Williams Funeral Home has been closely monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19. We are following the guidance of local health officials, North Dakota Department of Health, the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and President Donald Trump. According to public health officials, COVID-19 is spread like the flu and common colds. To stop the spread of germs: cover coughs and sneeze with a tissue, wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care and avoid close contact with people who are sick.
The CDC, in accordance with its guidance for large events and mass gatherings, recommends that for the next 8 weeks, organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 10 people or more throughout the United States. Through these difficult times Williams Funeral Home will continue to help guide you to the best possible memorialization options for your family. If you are not able to comfortably attend a service or visitation for a family member or dear friend, please consider one of the following options: a message of condolence on our website, sign the guestbook on our website, call to receive a funeral bulletin by mail, share a memory, write an old-fashioned letter to share memories, express feelings and offer condolences to each other, or send a card to our office and we will forward it to the family.
At this time, CDC guidance states, “There is currently no known risk associated with being in the same room at a funeral or visitation service with the body of someone who died of COVID-19.” However, the CDC also notes, “People should consider not touching the body of someone who has died of COVID-19.” At this time the CDC states that decedents with COVID-19 may be buried or cremated according to the family’s preference
Williams Funeral Home will continue to watch the developments surrounding COVID-19 closely and will take the appropriate steps necessary to protect the health of the families in the communities which we are blessed to serve.
At Williams Funeral Home, we have just one goal; to offer the help and service you need as you face, what could be, the most difficult situation of your life.

We are excited to announce the merger of Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel and Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.
Having our team under one roof at 621 1st Avenue South (across the street from St. James Basilica) provides an opportunity to better focus on the needs of the families we serve. All arrangement meetings, ceremonies, services, and administrative operations are held at Eddy Funeral Home.
Williams-Lisko pre-arrangement plans are on file at Eddy Funeral Home and will be honored and fulfilled, as are the records from past families we have served since the time of Daly-Peterson.
We appreciate your loyalty to our firms and look forward to honoring your heritage when the need arises.
